Clinical SupervisionThe most important tool you bring into the therapy room is yourself.
Being a therapist requires more than learning interventions and treatment modalities. Effective therapy depends not only on understanding our clients, but also on understanding our own reactions, assumptions, blind spots, and emotional responses. The work we do with clients is inevitably influenced by who we are, the experiences we carry, and the meaning we make of those experiences.
Since beginning my clinical work in 2010, I have come to believe that strong clinical work is built on both thoughtful case conceptualization and self-of-the-therapist awareness. My approach to supervision and consultation focuses on helping therapists develop a deeper understanding of their clients while also exploring how they show up in the therapeutic relationship.
Together, we will explore challenging cases, identify patterns and barriers to treatment, and examine the dynamics that emerge in the therapy room. I strive to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where therapists can think critically, explore uncertainty, and grow in confidence and authenticity.
Whether you are seeking licensure supervision, case consultation, or support in developing your clinical identity, my goal is to help you become a more grounded, intentional, and effective therapist.
