Your Questions, Answered

  • Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant background information. Just as importantly, you'll have the chance to ask questions and determine whether I feel like the right fit for you.

  • You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or are struggling to navigate a particular challenge. Therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself, develop new ways of coping, and create meaningful change.

  • I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use and recovery concerns, relationship challenges, personality disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, and difficulties related to self-worth and identity.

  • I view therapy as a collaborative process rather than something that is done to you. Together, we'll explore the beliefs, emotions, and patterns that shape your experience, helping you better understand what may be keeping you stuck and identify new ways of moving forward.

  • I am currently in-network with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Husky/Medicaid.

If I am not in-network with your insurance provider, I can provide a superbill that you may submit for reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify your coverage.

  • The best place to start is by reaching out for a consultation. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.
